The images in this series take me back to a time when a photographer could choose from a variety of color slide films that displayed the world in rich, beautiful color.
Over the years, these films have been known to shift from their original colors to shades of blue, magenta, or other hues. In some instances, the transition has offered unexpected pleasures.
I hope my photographs will inspire you to try out some of the films that are still made (for example, Ektachrome) before it’s too late. There may come a time when this creative tool will no longer be available to us.
